Mobile demonstration of the Sheffield animatronic tongue

As many of you know, Robin Hofe (one of my PhD students) has created an animatronic tongue and vocal tract - AnTon. Hidden Talent Show

Channel 4 are filming a show called the Hidden Talent Show for release in the first quarter of 2012. David Howard is working with Stuart Barr on this which involves the selection of a candidate to be trained as an opera singer (no previous experience) from an initial pool of over 800 applicants. The final candidate will get to sing with an orchestra live.... read more
